Blessed Hope Children’s Fund provides 20,000 highly nutritious meals and mentors 1650 children each month, primarily on the Islands of Mindanao, Negros, and Siquijor Philippines.

Dr. Larry Langston, President of Blessed Hope Children’s Fund, has partnered with Blessed Hope Christian Community Churches International, located in Cagayan de Oro, Mindanao since 1998. Together with the Blessed Hope Foundation, they have fed and mentored thousands of at- risk children.

The Republic of the Philippines is situated in the western Pacific Ocean and consists of around 7,641 islands. It covers 120,000 square miles and has a population of over 109 million people. Manila is the capital and is located on the island of Luzon.

Dr. Larry G. Langston

President

Dr. Langston has fifty-four years of ministry experience on five continents. Currently his primary missionary focus is the islands of Mindanao, Negros, and Siquijor Philippines, Dubai, Pakistan, Ireland, and the USA. He is the International Pastor of Blessed Hope Christian Community Churches International, a conference speaker and consultant to growing businesses and ministries. He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife, Diann.

Dr. Lynn Burling

Treasurer

Dr. Burling operated a successful printing business in Houston for forty years. He then became the Lead Pastor at a Non-Denominational Church in Bellville, Texas for twenty years until 2018. He has more than sixty years of business, missions, and ministry experience. He is an avid teacher and conducts ministry and missions training throughout the world. He is a mentor to ministries locally and globally and has sponsored new church constructions and feeding programs throughout the world.

Rev. Dante Taban

Secretary

Rev. Taban was born and raised in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao in the Philippine Islands and has firsthand experience of the needs of at-risk children. He is the Pastor of Jesus Christ Ministries International of North Carolina. He is a Registered Nurse by profession currently at the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is no stranger to ministry, having been involved with Blessed Hope Christian Community Churches International for many years. He often visits Mindanao where many of his family members and friends reside. He and his wife Maria and two children live in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Bishop Genesis Udang

Advisory Board

Bishop Udang served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Council of Evangelical churches. PCEC is an umbrella organization of around 25,000 Evangelical Churches in the Philippines. He now serves as the Deputy National Director for Mindanao, and has served as the President of the Mindanao Evangelical Leaders Council, an umbrella organization of Pastoral Organization Leaders in Mindanao.

Bishop Udang founded Blessed Hope Christian Community Churches International in 1986. Now BHCCCI has around 500 ministers in Mindanao, Negros, Siquori, United Arab Emirates, Ireland, and the United States. One of the primary focuses of BHCCCI has been to meet the needs of the community they are assigned to serve. They have provided disaster relief, face masks and shields during the Covid 19 crisis, shared nutritious meals with the needy, taught local government employees values transformation, and planted churches and multi-use facilities for the benefit of the local community. Because of his wisdom and expertise, Bishop Udang is regularly asked to consult or provide leadership to religious organizations, government officials, and business groups. He serves as the chairman of several ministry organizations and is a leader in the Filipino Community.

John L. Langston

John Langston is the owner and managing partner of Republic Capital Group with offices in New York City , Dallas, and Houston, Texas. He is a Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst and a Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst. He has over fifteen years’ experience in the M & A and the investment management industry and has held leadership roles in multiple wealth and asset management firms. He was listed as one of ten influencers and innovators set to change the Wealth Management Industry in 2020. And was recognized as the Mergers & Acquisitions Deal of the Year – 100mm– 250mm.

Candace Langston

President

Candace Langston is the Vice President, Communications of Republic Capital Group. She is responsible for the firm’s interaction with the media, including requests for quotes and appearances. She also manages digital channels and the firm’s involvement in industry events.

Global missions have been her lifelong passion. The John and Candace Langston Wealth Management Fellowship supports Langston Fellows at the Wealth Management Center at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.
